Receiving notes
A recipient must have any of the following programs installed and run on their computer:
- Secure Reminder 9.0 and higher
- NotesPP 9.0 and higher
- MoRUN.net Sticker 9.0 and higher
- Sticker Lite 6.0 and higher
- Free Sticky Notes 6.0 and higher
|
Tips:
If recipients:
- don't have Sticker Lite or another MoRUN.net program
- they have a program version earlier than Secure Reminder 9.0, NotesPP 9.0, MoRUN.net Sticker 9.0, Sticker Lite 6.0 or Free Sticky Notes 6.0
- the program on recipient's computer is not started
you can select the 'Use Net Send if can't send notes' option in the Administrative Tools to send a note as a Net Send message.
The Net Send utility is used to send messages to other computers on a network. A sender must have Windows XP/2003/2000/NT to use this feature. A recipient must have the Messenger service started (for Windows XP/2003/2000/NT) or running WinPop program on Windows 95/98/Me.

Receiving notes is not available on Windows 95/98/ME.
Make sure your firewall doesn't block the port Sticker Lite listens to and allows Sticker Lite to receive incoming information. Sticker Lite listens to port 905 by default.
To receive notes, you should provide a sender with a correct computer IP address or Computer name (for LAN/WLAN)
If you change a port number in the 'Network and Send/Receive Notes Settings', you should provide a sender with a new port number.
|
Tips: Sticker Lite provides an easy way to get a full list of Computers in your LAN/WLAN (including computer IP and Computer name information) and the Computers where you can send your notes.

Sending notes
If you have any problems with sending notes, make sure your firewall allows Sticker Lite to send information. If you need to modify your firewall settings, please read your firewall documentation.
If a recipient has changed the listening port in the 'Network and Send/Receive Notes Settings', you must specify the current port number.
